This past Monday the shipment of Concord Pears arrived and in less than a week they are all gone!
"Where did you get them"? "Do you have any more"? "I want to give one to my best friend so she can taste them". "They are the absolute best pears I have ever eaten". These are some of the comments your pears received in my household.
Steven, it is a bit redundant, but first the cherries, then the Honey Crisp apples and now the Concord Pears have received rave comments in the Kooyman home. And, I must enter another order for pears before your crop is all sold and I must wait another year for more. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication in growing such outstanding fruit!!!!!!! The pears are out of this world - Meg and I took a box to our favorite Japanese Restaurant last week. We were there last night and everyone raved about how sweet and tasty - not like any other pears they had ever had. You are going to spoil us between the Cherries and the Pears - we will never buy either from a store again. Thank you for the best fruit we have ever tasted. Hopefully we will be with Earl Bailey and Donna around the Thanksgiving holidays and I will thank him personally for turning us on to your wonderful products. We can't wait until next years cherries!!!!

Dear Steve,
As a long standing cherry client we were a bit hesitant to enter onto the pear order. We were hesitant because how could a pear compare in quality to the cherries we love so much. Boy were we wrong. The first shipment of pears we received were wonderful. Tasteful, velvet consistency, sweet as sugar. What a treat. We have never enjoyed a pear of this magnitude. When the second shipment arrived we were even further impressed as these were tastier, juicier and more sugary than the first shipment. Keep up the good work.

Hi Steve and Jennifer
We have ordered cherries and apples from you for a few years and have loved every mouthful! I mentioned how much we enjoyed your goodies to my mother-in-law and she just had to order some of your cherries this past season and was very pleased. When you e-mailed me that you had pears available around Thanksgiving, I gave her a call knowing that she is a pear connoisseur and lover. Of course, she placed a phone order post haste (she has no computer). When she received them she called me raving about them, saying that they were much better than the "Harry and David" pears that she has been ordering for years. I've never been a big fan of pears, but when she brought me one of yours to try, I became a "Steve and Jennifer" pear lover! I've just placed an order for a box and can't wait to get them and share them with my family at Christmas. Thanks for the wonderful products! Keep up the good work.

Thank you for not only producing wonderful fruit, but for making it available to us here in the Boston area. I am planning to can the pears I ordered for Christmas gifts. I figure if you start with the best, you can't go wrong. Home canned fruit is nothing like the commercial type, you probably know that already. I have never used Concord pears before, so here's hoping they work well! Blessing to you and your family. I love family farms and the wonderful products they produce. I try to buy as much from small farms as possible. I'll be looking forward to cherry season next year!
