Concord Pears
We are out of Pears for the season

At first glance you might ask yourself "what makes a Buckskin Orchard Concord Pear better than any those tasteless green winter pear I'm used to buying at the grocery stores?" (good question).

A Concord Pear, when ripened properly, possess a sweet chestnut buttery like texture that no other pear can duplicate. However, like any winter pear, if it is not properly ripened, it will never taste as good as it should.

As a farmer and an internet fruit vendor, I know what it takes to ripen Concord Pears properly. I'll do what is necessary on my end so that shortly after you receive them, they will reach their peak flavor. During that short lived window of about 5 days, you will experience a Pear the way it was suppose to taste. One bite and you will realize that there is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON between a Buckskin Orchard Pear and those you buy at the grocery store.
